0703-1602-99 ±25° TrueTILT™ Electrolytic Tilt Sensor
This electrolytic tilt sensor (also sometimes called an electronic tilt sensor) gives mid-range measurement up to ±25° with high accuracy of ±0.005° in one axis (single-axis measurement). This means that you’ll need two sensors to read in two axes (with orthogonal mounting, or mounted at a 90° angle). It has an industrial-grade, all-metal, and hermetically sealed sensor design for use in the most extreme environments. This sensor is higher accuracy and higher cost than the similar TrueTILT™ 0717 series sensors, but it is still lower cost than all of our glass electrolytic sensors.
All electrolytic sensors require an electrolytic tilt sensor circuit (also commonly referred to as signal conditioning or a signal conditioner) to provide a tilt angle output. This can be built into your system or you can purchase an electrolytic tilt sensor circuit we’ve designed. Our circuits are optimized for the best performance from our electronic tilt sensors.

6200 series signal conditioners – These signal conditioners can be configured with the 0703-1602-99 or any other Fredericks Company tilt sensor. They have a variety of outputs, including RS-232, RS485, SPI and analog. The sensor and board are provided separately or as an assembly with the sensor already installed at the customer’s request.
TrueTILT™ series sensors – The 0703-1602- 99 is part of this series, which includes narrow, mid and wide range metal sensors that have different operating specifications to fit the customer’s needs.
