The Fredericks Company’s Televac® vacuum measurement brand designs and manufactures single channel and multi-channel vacuum controllers for use with our passive vacuum gauges, including thermocouple gauges, convection gauges, and diaphragm gauges for low vacuum measurement, and cold cathode gauges and hot ion gauges for high vacuum measurement.
Our vacuum controllers have many features to simplify integration, including analog 0 to 10 V DC outputs for each connected vacuum gauge, digital RS-232, RS-485, EthernetIP, and USB communications, and set point relays for process control. Our multi-channel controllers are highly configurable, connecting to up to 10 passive vacuum gauges to give a measurement range of 10-11 Torr to 10,000 Torr.
In addition to our rack and panel mountable vacuum controllers, Televac also offers portable vacuum controllers and active vacuum gauges. While our rack/panel mountable vacuum controllers use a 110/220 V AC power supply and connect to passive gauges with cables, our portable vacuum controllers are battery powered (and connect to passive vacuum gauges with cables), and our active vacuum gauges have an electronics head that plugs directly into a passive vacuum gauge (and uses a 24 V DC supply voltage).

The MX200 is our most versatile multi-channel vacuum controller, connecting to up to 10 passive vacuum gauges to provide vacuum measurement from 10-11 Torr to 10,000 Torr. It has 0 to 10 V DC analog outputs for each connected vacuum gauge, and up to 8 optional set point relays for process control. The serial version of the MX200 includes RS-232, RS-485, and USB digital communications, and the EthernetIP version of the MX200 includes EthernetIP and USB digital communications for connecting directly to Rockwell Automation® Allen-Bradley® PLCs.
The MC300 is essentially a smaller, less configurable version of the MX200 (and depending on your MX200 configuration, the MC300 can also be lower cost). The MC300 vacuum control unit controls up to 3 passive vacuum gauges to provide vacuum measurement from 10-11 Torr to 1000 Torr. It has 0 to 10 V DC analog outputs for each connected vacuum gauge along with 4 set point relays for process control. This unit does not include any digital communications (RS-232, USB, etc.).
The MV2A is a single-channel vacuum controller which connects to our 2A thermocouple gauge, giving it a measurement range of 1*10-3 Torr (1 micron) to 20 Torr (20,000 microns). It has a digital display to show vacuum measurements along with a 0 to 5 V DC output corresponding to its current vacuum reading. The MV2A also has 2 set point relays for process control.
The Compact 2A is another single-channel vacuum controller, similar to the MV2A, except that the Compact 2A has an analog display to show vacuum measurements. The Compact 2A connects to our 2A thermocouple gauge, giving it a measurement range of 1*10-3 (1 micron) to 20 Torr (20,000 microns).
