Vacuum Gauge Baffle Filter Solutions for Accurate Vacuum Measurement

Televac^® vacuum gauge baffle filters are engineered to protect vacuum measurement systems from contamination-related issues that can lead to inaccurate readings, shortened gauge life, and increased maintenance. Contaminants such as particulates, condensable vapors, metallic dust, and pump oil backstreaming can migrate into the gauge, causing sensor fouling, drift, and instability. By acting as a high-efficiency barrier, these baffle filters significantly reduce the amount of debris and vapor entering the gauge, resulting in cleaner, more stable, and more repeatable vacuum measurements.

Televac^® offers a wide range of vacuum gauge baffle filters, each designed to provide the same high level of protection. The only difference between the models is the connection type and flange size used to mount the filter directly to your vacuum gauge. This ensures easy integration with a wide range of Televac^® vacuum gauges, including the 2A Thermocouple, 4A Convection, 7B Cold Cathode, 7E Cold Cathode and vacuum system setups. Available configurations include:

• 1/8” NPT Female to 1/8” NPT Male Baffle Filter – A compact threaded NPT-to-NPT design that installs directly onto gauges equipped with a 1/8” NPT connection.
• 1/8” NPT Female to 3/8” Straight Baffle Filter – Features a straight tube that enables customers to weld their own flange or custom connection, ideal for unique mounting requirements or custom vacuum assemblies.
• KF16 Baffle Filter – ISO-KF16 flange version designed for Televac^® vacuum gauges with a KF16 connection.
• KF25 Baffle Filter – ISO-KF25 configuration that fits gauges equipped with a KF25 flange, commonly used across a wide range of industrial vacuum systems.
• KF40 Baffle Filter – ISO-KF40 flange option engineered for gauges that use the larger KF40 connection size.

Across all mounting styles, Televac^® baffle filters offer low flow resistance, long service life, and consistent performance even in harsh or particulate-laden vacuum environments.
